Alright, this thread has one purpose and one purpose only: ads. This is for consolidation of those damned 'recruitment' and advertising ploys, as well as any of you active members (as in, stuck around to post more than once or twice) who feel the need to cry out for extra attention for your website or personal project. Or at least something you feel we'd all be interested in. This is not for posting interesting articles or sites of notable interest. Your site. Your work. Your shameless plug (or plug for a friend). Banners, links, webrings are fine, as long as they are kept to a single post, and provide enough information so someone will actually want to go where you point them to.
* Good ads feature a linked banner (not too big!), or a text link, plus a short but informative description of what the heck you're sending people to. Example:
The Katt's Paw: My personal furry site. I've got most of my artwork up in my album, plus some stories, poems, games, nonsense, and plenty of fun links. Even though I haven't updated in a while, I'd love to get some feedback.
* Bad ads feature no link and/or an extremely dumb/retarded/pointless description. Example:
"OMG MY SITE R0X0RZ COM EVISIT CUZ ITS SO COOL!!!1133"
or
"hi imnew hear plz visit my site its the best okkk???"
Also not acceptable are single posts by newly joined members, simply for the sake of promoting a product or store. If you're gonna post here, you should be a dedicated poster in the rest of the forum.
